Cutting board to chalkboard

Does "this little piggy" look familiar?

rescued him from a local thrift store for $.80.

I say rescued because in his previous life he was being used
as a chopping block cutting board.
I brought him home, cleaned him up and painted him with a little chalkboard paint.

Love love love LOVE!!! Chalkboard paint is SO much fun!!

BTW- I noticed your cute coffee mugs...I have a shelf with hooks (similar to yours) in my kitchen and i just could not figure out what to hang from them. Thought about pans (too heavy) and thought about regular ol' coffee cups but I thought that was too boring. I LOVE your monogram cups!!! Did you make them? I think I may be "stealing" this idea from you!

Love your blog and all of your ideas Lucy!!

Thanks ladies for the compliments on my little $.80 pig :)

Kara - I did not make them but, how easy it will be for you with the silhouette. You could even change it up for holidays.
