Or help me if you can....
I am getting so frustrated!
I have not been able to post any pictures on my blog for the last several days.
I sent the following e-mail to a few of my blogger buddies which were also not familiar with the whole Picasa Web storage issue....
For the last week when trying to post a photo on a new post it takes me several
times of uploading it before it will work. Now it tells me I have run out of
space in my Picasa Web album???? Okay, I will admit I am pretty blogger
illiterate – I had no idea my photos were being stored in a Picasa album and
that my free 1GB storage would run out.
I have tried going through the help sections for both Blogger and Google
and can’t seem to find an answer. Have you run out of photo storage? Was I silly
for thinking my blog and Blogger would always be free?? I realize Google is
offering me an upgrade for more storage and it’s only $2.49 per month, but I
wanted to see if this was something I HAVE to do or if there was another option.
Do you have any idea? I have never heard any bloggers mention this before.
I am a bit puzzled...one of my blogger buddies has been blogging many more years than me and has posted WAY more photos and has never gotten anything from Picasa to say she has used up her FREE 1 GB storage....
I logged into Picasa Web and noticed it not only had 10 copies of some of the same pictures in my albums, but had numerous pictures I have never even posted on my blog. How in the heck did that happen? I deleted about 30 duplicate pictures and still am unable to post. I will be the first one to say I am not so blogger, computer or Picasa savvy, but come on.... I can't get any answers as to what is going on.
If you can give me some insight, pleeeezzzzz do....

Gosh, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I have been usuing Picmonkey since Picnik kind of "left" us. And, one evening I had the same thing happen to me. I kind of freaked out! I thought, what the heck do I do now?! The solution my husband gave me was to delete a photo on one of my blog posts, which I did. So, one of my "less interesting" blog posts has no photo to go with the story. I know. Lovely!!!
Since I did that, I have not received that message again. However, my temporary solution was not a good one. I never never gone back yet to reinsert the photo. My husband actually thought my pictures were way too large and that is probably why it happened. I guess the size of my pictures was larger becuse I was tweaking them? Anyway, I have tried to tweak less, and so far have been fine. However, I would prefer the option of tweaking more, without that nasty note coming up.
If anyone out there can give you an explanation, would you please forward it on to me as well?
I joined the " Women Get Social" site
(http://www.thesitsgirls.com) and in the comment section they have a lot of info for problems in blogger. A few times I've ran into problems and someone on the site has been able to direct me. If it isn't already answered, you should get an answer in a day or so.....
