Chicken Pot Pie anyone?


 Who doesn't like chicken pot pie?
Here's my favorite recipe.


This recipe is so easy; you will find most the ingredients already in your kitchen.
I use readymade pie crust, but you can make your own if you like.
Word of caution:
Don't try to pour all the mixture into a readymade pie shell - even the deep dish will overflow.
 I make mine in a 2 quart casserole dish instead.


 It comes out perfect every time!

Oh, I love chicken pie. Think I will give this a try this weekend! Weatherman said we were going to have below freezing temps for a few hours each night this weekend. :( Not ready for this, but I guess it's time. The very first thing I noticed in your picture was the veggie can from Publix. Aaah, Florida! We have a Publix close to my mom and dad's place there. I'm really jealous you get to live there 24/7! :) My favorite place in the world! Have a great day!

YUM! So funny that you posted a chicken pot pie recipe too! LOL! I can't take credit for the recipe I featured, but I can say it turned out delish. I did have to bake it a lot longer than the original recipe (which reminds me I need to edit my post). I will have to try your recipe too! It looks fantastic!
