It's National Sewing Month

What better time to get this blog started again.

I could come up with a million excuses reasons why I haven't blogged since October of last year, but I will spare you the boring details.

Let's just say I'm back for now.

I will start with a simple post to get me back in the swing of things...

I made these small overnight bags and tissue holders for my granddaughters.

These bags are just the right size for a toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, hair ties, tissue, etc.

I used pre-quilted fabric for the outside of the bag and lined it to match the applique and tissue holder.

These bags are so much fun to make and are super useful for many things.

The bags are really simple to make and the tissue holder only takes about 10 minutes to whip together.
I have made these as make up bags for women, bags for men's shavers and essentials and even made one for Mr. Fisherman for his IPOD and accessories.

Happy Tuesday everyone!

See ya soon.....
