I thought you might be interested in seeing the beach bag, hat, cover-up and sunglass case I made Miss Oakleigh a few summers ago. Each one of the 4 outside pockets has a design from http://www.designsbyjuju.com/; the sunglass case I purchased from the Dollar Tree.
This Dollar Tree sunglass case was very easy to embroider on.
This simple little cover-up I cut from a towel, made my own bias, used snaps on the top and ribbon ties on the sides.
Of course, she needed a matching hat.
Even though she has outgrown the cover-up and hat she can still use the beach bag for a few more years.
