This is a very easy project for a beginner.
You don't need an embroidery machine; you can use a preprinted tee shirt and add a matching ruffle.
When I made Oakleigh's dress, I left the tee shirt the same length
and added a longer ruffle.
For this one, I cut a few inches off the bottom of the shirt first and made the ruffle shorter; this way it can still be worn as a shirt.
With a few added accessories, Polly is ready for a night on the town with her
best "ghoul" friends!
