After three weeks of runny noses, sore throats, and coughs we are all finally on our way to recovery.
I LOVE the simple pattern for these tissue boxes.
I made these a few years ago from instructions out of either an old
Sew Simple or Sew News magazine.
I have searched through every sewing magazine I own and have not been able to find this pattern.
I think I may have loaned the magazine to someone and it was never returned to me.
If any of you know which magazine and what month this pattern came from, please let me know.
It may be possible for me to purchase an old copy from their website.
Thanks guys for your help.
Have a great day!

I love tissue box covers, too (and for the little purse size pouches of tissues). I don't have the magazine, but there are several sites with instructions that look very much like yours: http://sewing.about.com/od/healthbeautyitems/ss/sqtissuecovers.htm, http://www.designsponge.com/2010/03/sewing-101-tissue-box-cover.html, or even this special one http://www.connectingthreads.com/patterns/Seasonal_Tissue_Box_Covers_Pattern__D991396.html. These patterns don't have the contrasting trim yours do, but I'm sure you could recreate it.
I hope your recovery is complete very soon!

Adorable! Very glad to hear *recovery*!! :)
Hi! I'm in Hawai'i right now, but when I get back to Manila, I'll look in my files for the magazine. It's a Sew News, and I, too, share in a blog post(s) some tissue box covers I made.
If you'll e-mail me at mrskjdibble@juno.com as a reminder, I can even mail you a copy of the directions.
